The forum will take place at the Hayon Farm, at the place called “La Ferme du Hayon”, 108, at 6769 Sommethonne (Meix-devant-Virton).
Be aware that the Farm is at a distance of at least 2 hours by car from Brussels and Charleroi. If you are coming by public transport, it is more. In that case, it is better if you plan to arrive the day before.
To reach it…
- By car
!! Do not follow your GPS, as it will lead you to Sommethonne village itself. But the farm is not in the village! Indicate Meix-devant-Virton instead.
And don’t forget the carpooling interface!
From Brussels / Namur (E 411) and Liège (E25 which joins the E411 to the Neufchâteau interchange): E 411 exit 29, turn right towards Etalle/Virton, and then follow the N87 towards Virton.
At the height of Croix-Rouge, be careful: pass the railway, the Brasserie La Sapinière, the crossroads with the N879, and after about 200 m, take the first right towards Meix-devant-Virton. Follow this small road through woods that leads to Meix-devant-Virton. At the entrance of the village, pass on the railway tracks and turn left. Once on the village square, turn right, direction Florenville. After the pharmacy, take the first left, direction “Les Hayons”, “Sommethonne” and follow the signs to the farm.
Be aware that the road that leads from the N87 to Meix-devant-Virton is blocked (and is likely to stay like that in the next few days) !! We suggest you to continue on the N87 until the exit Houdrigny (do not take towards the center of Virton). After about 2km, turn right, direction Meix-devant-Virton / Florenville. Once in the village of Meix-devant-Virton, stay attentive: after the pharmacy, and towards the exit of the village, take the first left, direction “Les Hayons”, “Sommethonne”, and follow the signs.
From Arlon, Luxembourg, Metz, Châlons en Champagne, join Virton. Then take the N866 direction Houdrigny and pass preferably by Meix-devant-Virton following the N88. At the exit of the village, take the first left, direction “Les Hayons”, and follow the signs.
